I have earned a bachelor degree and a master's degree in Business Education. I have kept my teaching license current. In 2008, I obtained my vocational education endorsement for my teaching license. Most of my career has been spent in the field of Information Services working as a business analyst and a project manager. Since education was also a passion of mine, I assumed the position of Education Coordinator for my department. I began college as an engineering major, so I have background in advanced mathematics and physics. I went on to change my major to psychology where I gained knowlege of social and behavioral sciences, as well as research technologies and statistical analysis. Since graduating college with a B.A. in psychology, I have worked as a psychology researcher, accounting assistant, and in 3 different roles for an international pharmaceutical company. Through my job experience, I have gained knowledge in different business disciplines and areas such as Lean/Six Sigma and Supply Chain/Logistics planning.
I love teaching all ages and skill levels. I adjust my teaching style to the individual - some people are visual learners or oral learners or hands-on learners. I teach by example and try to encourage my students to understand "why" rather than just "how."
