I have held a strong passion for history since I was an undergrad at Radford University. As a graduate student at Hollins University I was able to study a broad spectrum of academic fields with an intense focus on history. I am currently employed at Virginia Western Community College as an adjunct professor of both World and American History. A Little Bit About Me...

I really enjoy being around kids and helping them learn new things. When you teach a kid something and they finally get it, the sight of their face lighting up is priceless. I believe that one should teach using a variety of methods because all kids do not learn the same way and each individual method shows something new each time.
