I earned both my Bachelor's of Arts in English and my Master's of Science in Public Relations from the University of Southern Mississippi. While at USM, I served as the Assistant to the Graduate Reader as a graduate student, where my job was to proof graduate and Ph.D. students' theses and dissertations. This job, in particular, helped me become extremely familiar with APA and MLA formatting, as well as everyday grammar and word usage. Gratified by the opportunity to attend college, I am the only member of my family to earn a degree. In 2008, I obtained my undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from the prestigous Jackson State University. At present, I am completing my graduate degree in History from (JSU). One of requirements for achieving a MA in History is completing a thesis and successfully defending the document.
