My teaching style focuses on modeled and guided discussions so that students can talk through their understanding so I can remediate and reteach to ensure that they are learning and they find confidence in their learning.

15 years experience in a broad variety of subjects!

I have been tutoring for over 15 years both in students homes or at public locations such as coffee shops or the public library. My education and experience are broad. I was educated at "Ivy League" level schools and purposefully educated myself in a large variety of the humanities, which in essence all tie together. Basic courses up through most High School material outside of the Humanities are not difficult. As I teacher for the last five years in Lake County I have taught English as a second Langugage,and students with exceptionalitites in grades sixth through eight. I have students that have learned to read while in my class as well as increase their knowledge of how to sound out a word and independently being able to spell. My success rate this past year in a few of my prized students whom weren't even to write in complete sentences or spell resulted in them receiving a passing score of the grade 8 FCAT.
