For the past 10 years, I have been teaching at a Huntington Learning Center while privately tutoring students from the area middle, high school, and community colleges.
My teaching style adapts to the students current level of knowledge. I always model 2 or 3 problems step by step before asking the student to try a problem. I have been helping to tutor my daughter who is 17 years old now but has suffered from ADHD most of her life. She has always especially struggled in math which is one of my strongest subjects. She is getting ready now to dual enroll into the local college. At 39 years old, I decided to go back to school and get a degree. When you have 3 children and a wife, a full time job and a youth ministry that you volunteer with it becomes very difficult. You have to be odd to be number one!
