A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching in the homeschool community for about 10 years. I have learn many skills on how to handle different classroom situations. I tautht cross county, physical education, critical thinking skills, sewing, and all the other core courses. I volunteered in a local private school to assist when they would need me. As of this October I started teaching at a local tutoring center. Currently, I am teaching on a "on call basis" at a local college.
My philiosphy is to motivate through praise. I believe in speaking words of encouragement to the students. I have seen positive words manifest into good results for the students. I am a graduate from Barry University. I chose to pursue my Master's Degree in Human Resourse because of the diverse areas of study. Do to the fact that the degree was in training and development, it has enabled me to obtain the areas of study so I will be able to tutor students in many areas of study, such as, English, basic math, etc. I have taught workshops to numerous agencies throughout the past years.
