First, I analyze my students to determine their learning style. Based on that, I customize my lessons to fit each individual student's needs. I commonly use visual tools such as colorful drawings and try to connect the material to real world situations.
I majored in Biochemistry and Pharmacology at the UNAM in Mexico City. Chemistry is one of my top subjects!

I am currently a college sophomore at Florida Institute of Technology studying Computer Engineering so I know the problems a high school or school or college student would face in studies. Therefore, I will be able to communicate with m y students better and help them excel in studies and eliminate their weak points in any subject. I have no teaching style since I believe that to succeed one needs to seriously study and teach and cover your weakest subjects first.

A Little Bit About Me...

I taught K-8 Spanish, then third grade. I understand that each child learns differently, so many methods may need to be incorporated. Repetition is something I rely on to learn vocabulary words or important concepts. Music and games are a fun way to help children and adults learn difficult or lengthy concepts. As a freshman in high school, I was given a chance to teach rhythmic gymnastics to a small group of beginner gymnast. I took every math course offered by a 4 year college, student taught for one 6 week session, and took some educational courses. After home educating my 4 children for 17 years, I returned to school to complete an AA degree in liberal arts and a BA degree in sociology. I now work as a math teacher working with children who range in age from 9-17 and have special needs.
