In May 2009, I graduated from Mount Holyoke College as a biochemistry major with Magna cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa distinction. At Mount Holyoke, I was a General Chemistry laboratory teacher's assistant. Also, I was an Organic Chemistry I and Organic Chemistry II tutor to sophomore and juniors enrolled in the course. After graduating, I provided SAT tutoring for a student. I also gained experience teaching as a long-term chemistry substitute at Agawam High School. I did this by striving for excellence in the classroom and participating in cutting edge research with professors in the Entomology and Organic Chemistry departments. My extensive knowledge of the subjects I’ve studied has allowed me to assist my friends in understanding complex and difficult problems. I believe the best way for someone to learn something is through application and repetition.
