Tutor for the summer

I am a speech therapist with 11 years and experience. I have worked with students pre-k through 12th grade, primarily pre-k through 5th grade. I have extensive experience working with students on reading comprehension, answering and asking questions, semantics of language (antonyms, synonyms, multiple meanings of words, attributes, categorization), syntax, grammar, phonics and much more! I have mainly worked with kids with disabilities, including autism, developmental delays, communication delays, speech and language impairment, and Down Syndrome. Helping students learn and learn how to grow

My teaching experience is broad across subjects and age levels. Learning and teaching excite me and I like to think that attitude rubs off on my students. I am a very patient, hands-on style of tutor. I take the time and try to explain things to people who have a hard time understanding.
