I graduated high school in 2000 with a local diploma and then went on to college at Utica School of Commerce. I graduated in 2002 with an Associated Degree as an Administrative Specialist. I have worked at a few different jobs and just went back to college again at Utica School of Commerce and got my certificate degree as a Medical Office Assistant. When helping others, I do it two ways. I tell them how to do it and guide them through it. Other times, I show them how to do it. However, I do not do it for them. I would love to have the chance to help children succeed in their education! It would be an honor!

I really enjoy teaching and working with people of all ages. I believe everyone is able to grasp the concept of math and science when taught effectively and with patience. I am a very easy going and friendly person, and I have been told I explain things with enough detail to understand, but not too much to bog down the information. I am a firm believer in teaching through fun riddles and games, and always relating the problem back to the student's personal life, hobbies, etc. I honestly believe everyone is able to be great at math and science, and a great educator will make a world of difference in pursuing the sciences. I have taught in many areas of study. Since I was young, I taught my younger family members the importance of manners, honesty, care, and responsibility. I believe this has carried into my real-life career as a teacher. I have taught at schools such as Hope Hall in Rochester, NY and Lemoyne Elementary in Syracuse, NY. There I helped my students with their basic subject courses during their class time period. I have taught dance at Kami's Kix Dance Studio which has helped me to gain stronger classroom management skills as well as gaining a thicker patience.
