For the last 4 years I have taught Special Education at the pre-k level. My classes consist of students with disabilities, as well as students without disabilities. Over the last four years I have had the opportunity to work with students with various disabilities including: Autism, Traumatic brain injuries, ADD and ADHD, Down Syndrome and learning disabilities. I can adapt my teaching style to the learning style of the student. I believe that interactive and hands on activities benefit students with disabilities because they are learning through doing, rather than simply being told.

Corcoran High School, where I am a sophomore I currently take IB classes and wanted to start tutoring to pass the time and pick up a little extra cash. I'm drug free and have never tasted alcohol. I try to be patient and usually am. I'd prefer to work with children still in elementary or middle school, seeing as I haven't learned everything yet. I know the basic and more to just about everything eighth grade and below. Typically the setting in which the tutoring will take place will be my house in my dining room area and after that the student may watch television until his or her parent or guardian is there to pick them up.
