A Little Bit About Me...

Since graduating from MIT with a degree in Math, I have worked at the National Bureau of Economic Research in Cambridge, MA and Siemens AG in Munich, Germany. For the last two years, I have been a graduate student at the U in physics. I plan to earn my Ph.D. in 2009. I started tutoring college level calculus and physics the year before entering graduate school, and as a graduate student I have been leading discussion sections and tutoring in physics as a teacher assistant.
I think the most important part of instruction is to give the student a framework for learning. I help them solve problems by asking leading questions so that they can develop the intuition for solving problems on their own, of course introducing and explaining basic concepts when necessary.
