Throughout college, I held myself to a high educational standard, and maintained a 3.92 GPA. I majored in music, minored in chemistry, and completed extensive coursework in the math and science areas. Since graduation, I have worked in the chemical field, and possess a firm knowledge of the field of math and science and excellent writing and reading comprehension skills. In a tutoring setting, the student's needs are evaluated and methods for meeting these needs are explored and applied. Students differ in learning styles. A combination of teaching approaches allows these differences to be manifested with a view toward reinforced learning through the student’s preferred style and improvement in the use of non-preferred styles.
