My comments on tutoring German : I am working part time as German instructor with a global Language School.

I work full time for a German company where I am responsible for translation of product documentation from English to German and vice verse. I am a native German speaker, only immigrated to the US in 1997. As a 2nd job I teach German at a global language school. Since I came to the US I have translated a number of documents for individuals and small businesses. In addition I edit documents for a German translation and documentation company.
Immersion. My style is German only. The student will receive 3 lifelines in a lesson where he/she can ask a question in English, but 95% of the lesson is in German.

My comments on tutoring German : I am fluent in German and routinely speak it with my friends in Regensburg Germany and Tirol. Although I am not a language tutor, I am a connoisseur of literature and an ardent learner of foreign languages. In addition to German, I speak Russian and Hebrew. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a long-standing practice of teaching of Russian non-Russian students. It should be noted that the Russian language - is my native language. I was born and raised in Central Asia, where they speak Russian zyke without accents. This speech became my speech. I also had a job as an editor and presenter of television broadcasts in Russian. A Little Bit About Me...

Have taught a total of nine years in elementary and middle school while raising my three children. It was during this time I discovered two of my three children were diagnosed with special needs. This prompted me to return to school where I obtain my Master's certificate in teaching students with disabilities. I wanted to learn more about how children with special needs learn and the best ways of reaching/teaching them.
