My experience stems primarily from my time attending college both in the United States and abroad in Cork, Ireland. I have earned a B.A. in English with the intent of pursuing graduate school. In May 2008 I was awarded the honor of an Award of Excellence in Critical Writing from the University of Northern Iowa. I spent three consecutive summers as a faculty member with Exploration Schools, Inc. located in Boston, MA where I taught, coached, tutored and led youth ranging in grades 4-9 in the areas. A Little Bit About Me...

I am both patient and enthusiastic in my teaching style, believing that learning and growing offer tremendous rewards, even as there are inevitable challenges to be overcome along the way. I have experience teaching all generations, from young children to older adults, and believe that learning comes in all different forms and styles.
