I am a native of China and fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English. I served as the Chinese Credits teacher and counselor for Concordia Language Villages Summer Camp in 2012. This program is designed for intensive Chinese Language and culture study. I taught Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and writing as well as the culture knowledge and competency. I served as the International Baccalaureate Mandarin Chinese Teacher for the Fridley Public School in Minnesota from 2008 to 2011. I taught English for fourteen years while in China to students of all ages in Chinese Public Schools as well as in my own successful English Training Center Business.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have had extensive education in Math and Physics through college and graduate school. I worked as research scientist for 14 years after graduating from school. In the past seven years, I have been working with children with learning disabilities (autism, etc). I have taught communication, language, self-help, social skills and elementary level academics, using a technique called Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). I completed my graduate-level ABA course training in 2009, earning a certificate towards the national board certification as a Behavior Analyst. I am also a fluent speaker in Chinese.
I love teaching and working with all children, especially those facing challenges in learning. I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways.
