My comments on tutoring Grammar : This is something I work on with my tutoring students.

I have taught for seven years in various levels of special Ed. I have also worked in 5th grade for two years and two years in kindergarten.I have wanted to work as a teacher since I was young playing school with my brothers. I want to help shape the minds of our future leaders. I believe that I am the best teacher around because I think about the child's needs first before my opinion on what should be taught.

I have 16 years teaching experience at the elementary level teaching 5 years of 2nd grade, 8 years of 4th grade, 1 year of 5th grade, 1 year of 1st grade, and 1 year of 5/6 Language Arts and Science Resource teacher experience. I also taught 1 year at the Junior High level teaching 8th grade Pre-Algebra.

Being home schooled with the accelerated A Beka curriculum, I was able to outperform many of my peers in the public school system. My early education had given me a particularly strong grasp of grammar, reading comprehension, and writing; my proficiency with these increased by studying Latin and Ancient Greek at Trinity University.
