I've helped in my mother's elementary and middle school classrooms since age ten. In high school and college, I loved coordinating study groups and helping (and learning from) my peers. I have a Bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences. I have taken courses such as Biology, Chemistry, Genetics, Immunology, Microbiology, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Physics and Comparative Anatomy, and Mammailian Physiology. I also taught the labs for the Microbiology for three years and also taught the labs for Comparative Anatomy for a year. I worked with hundreds of students and throughly enjoyed that time with my students.
I worked first hand with professor and teaching assistant and have learned what they are looking for. I have one BS in Electrical Engineering, and while an upper-class student tutored younger students. As a senior, I also tutored Intro to EE students on request 2-3 times per week. I currently teach Leadership basics to enlisted Marines during the week. I have a heavy math and science backgrounds based on my major, but also have self-studied psychology, history, and technical writing. I can tutor in almost any subject at the high school level, and engineers or math/science courses at the collegiate level.
