Down to Earth tutor more worried about the academics than $

Because my area of expertise is language, I find it easy to express myself in a way that a student would understand. An important aspect of teaching is not only expressing oneself eloquently, however; it is also vital to be a good listener. This is something I pride myself on. If a teacher cannot understand what a student finds to be confusing, then the teacher cannot accurately solve a problem.
