I prefer to teach by interaction by which I mean walking you through the steps as you complete them versus lecturing. I believe that hands on experience is the best way to help things stick when it comes to AutoCAD. I am very patient and will gladly go over things as many times as necessary until I feel you have a full understanding.
Aside from my bachelors degree in Architecture in which I studied and used AutoCAD, I have over 6 years of professional CAD experience, ranging from simple 2d layouts and basic functions up through sophisticated 3d modeling. I have worked in small architectural businesses, large construction firms, and currently work as the sole CAD draftsman for a large renowned food company's engineering department.

While pursuing my Engineering degree at Roger Williams University, I noticed that there were not too many students from low income families attending college. That is why I joined Bridge to Success Program on January 2001. BTS was a program, sponsored by Roger Williams University at the time, which focused in assisting and encouraging students from low income families as well as minorities. I served as a mentor for five years in the program. I helped a number of students go into college and helped them improved their grades in math and science. Thorough my dedication and commitment, I was awarded the mentor of the year award in 2004. It has been by far one of the most honorable acknowledgments I have received.
