I graduated from Kutztown University with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. During my educational track I completed three student teaching experiences. In addition, I have and am currently a lead teacher at Childtime Learning Center. I love to work with children everyday. I believe children have different learning styles and it is important to find out each child's learning style to better meets their academic needs. As a teacher of urban students and students who have experienced sever trauma (Hillside), I have gained a thorough understanding of the challenges faced by children today such as home environment and poverty. My first career was as a Registered Professional Nurse (NYS licensure) for 25 years. During those years, I kept up my interest in various fields of math, such as Abstract Algebra, Differential equations, and topology. I was especially interested in algebraically-capable computer math programs. I,eventually, went back to school for my Mathematics degree as part of a long-standing interest in and commitment to Mathematics.
