Facilitator Teaching Style: Students discuss with me about the basic understanding, concepts, and framework of essays and papers and then do one attempt. We then review and analyze each paragraph for grammar and general cohesiveness and make necessary improvements. I am a senior at the University of Tennessee and am majoring in Architecture. Coming from a background of advanced English classes at Oak Ridge High school, writing and composition is my strong suit. I have training in the Balanced Literacy program in which the word study, reading objectives, and writers' workshop are combined in a one and a half hour block of student driven, teacher facilitated activities. These are ultimately shared in a whole group and or one on one setting.
