I've been a teacher's unofficial little helper since I was in Elementary, helping the students of my class that the teacher simply didn't have the extra time to help. From then on, I helped and even eventually taught my younger siblings when the current school system left them in the dust, and even helped them get a leg up and advance faster than their classmates. I was a single parent to a son with cerebral palsy and "tutored" him through elementary, middle and high school as well as a community college. With his disability, my son required hands on help and patience and encouragement which I think I supplied with success.
