I am currently a student at the university of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where I am majoring in early childhood education with a minor in speech pathology. I am working full time as the head aftercare teacher at hickory valley Christian school where I work with elementary school children. I have much experience in teaching, I am also a current tutor with the Honors program, working with four students ranging from 5th grade to freshman in college. I have been an elementary education classroom teacher for 30 years. I have taught in Walker County, Hamilton County, The Bright School, and Cumberland Hall Psychiatric Hospital for children and adolescents. I have taught in a variety of settings and enjoyed each one.
