A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored classmates and friends throughout college and after in science and math disciplines. My younger sister struggled in school and I assisted her with all disciplines from grades K-12. I studied Chemical Engineering at West Virginia University and got my degree in four years. Classes I took included four semesters of calculus, including multivariable and differential equations, two semesters of physics, inorganic and organic chemistry, and several chemical engineering specific classes. I am a firm believer that strict memorization does not allow the student to broaden their ability to solve problems of various flavors. I encourage the student to understand the concepts to avoid tedious memorization. Additionally I believe children learn best in an environment where they do not feel intimidated or nervous.
