If your child struggles in reading or math I am here to help

I have volunteered in a school district for just over 3 years and when I do volunteer I assist children in the classroom who have problems in their reading and math. By assisting these students they have improved on their tests as well as gaining confidence in their learning. I work really well one on one with the child who needs such assistance but also in small groups. If needed to assist a child online it can be done as long as there are materials available for the child that is provided by the school.

Learning is serious, but that doesn't mean it has to be grim

I encourage higher order thinking, and help students learn to become self-directed and independent. Not only will your child develop greater skills and knowledge in each discipline, he/she will develop many specific thinking strategies and skills which they will apply in the classroom and throughout life. My mottos is, "Learning is serious, but that doesn't mean it has to be grim." I believe in making learning exciting, and especially in helping children learn to believe in themselves as successful learners. Live, Laugh, Love

I do private one on one tutoring where the child will have a greater opportunity to learnt he material
I work at the Boys and Girls Club where I am the poetry teacher. I haver also been tutoring for 5 years and I am great with kids. I tutor in many subjects but my strongest subject is English and Literature. I also tutor any grade level. I enjoy helping kids learn and understand their material better.
