I have worked almost continuously at Wichita Collegiate School over the last 8-9 years. During high school I worked in the Early Childhood after-school program and summer programs. Since graduating from Colorado State University I have substituted in multiple age groups and for a variety of course work areas. In addition, I have received an Associates Degree in Elementary Education and am working towards a Teaching License. I completed an unpaid internship at the YMCA of the Ozarks, Camp Lakewood in Missouri. I have worked with a multitude of students in a wide variety of subjects. I am thankful that I had some "hard" teachers and professors throughout my education. I have honestly grown to understand the importance of success and how nothing worth having comes easily. After obtaining a BA in Business Ad, becoming a CPA, and working ten years as an accountant/auditor, I focused my skills towards teaching. I taught accounting and business math 4 yrs at a business college and community college. In addition I have used extensive grammatical skills in writing audit reports and business letters. I also have many years volunteering in various children's programs.
