I love to learn, and love passing that on to others. I am a patient personality, and I may present a problem to a student to evaluate where they are. From there, we can go either backwards or to more advanced work. Education is very important for myself and for my children, and I like to instill that learning takes you further in life than where someone may have not even dreamed. I love working with students and seeing their joy when something finally clicks. I believe learning must be a concrete process with plenty for the students to touch and manipulate in order to succeed. It's impossible for a teacher to use only one strategy because children all learn different. To be effective, a teacher must get to know the students and figure out what helps them then stick out that path. I believe that Math is a subject of concepts and if the concepts are clear than any body can do math. Making concepts clear depends on the teacher who analyze the understading of each individual and teaches him accordingly.
As a Math graduate, I wanted to remove hesitation and fear of students for this subject and I became a Math tutor. I have taught advance Math (Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus) at High Schools and also done tutoring for these subjects.
