A Little Bit About Me...

I was a teaching assistant at North Georgia College and State University for three years. I assisted with laboratory sections of biology courses and taught them in the event of a professors absence. I provided department funded tutoring services during that time as well. I have taken the GRE and Biology Section of the GRE and received excellent scores on both tests in only one sitting. I am a post graduate in Mathematics. I have worked 2 years teaching High school Math in Beddingfield High School in Wilson NC, and one year teaching Math to high and middle schools in the same school system. In those school I used differentiated instruction for my students, like PPT, Accelerated math, C;assscapes,CPS, Etc. All my education is from India. I taught for 7 years in India before coming here. Real passion in teaching comes to me when I see my students succeed.

I have earned a bachelors degree in Chemistry from East Tennessee State University. I have always loved children. Children are precious and all have very unique learning techniques. When I was a senior at Maryville High School, I taught Spanish to first graders. My partner and I were in charge of making lesson plans and fulfilling these plans for each class. I really enjoyed seeing the children get excited about learning.

During the past two years, I have taught Medical Terminology at the college level. Previously, I wrote and presented workshops for early childhood education teachers. Not only did this allow me to teach, it required me to continue my education in all academic areas. With a bachelor degree in Human Services Management and an associate degree in Medical Technology, I have gained much experience in Math, Science, Management and Public Speaking.
My goal is to help each child reach his or her potential. The best way to do this, is to first identify the child's learning style.
