I have my BFA in Creative Writing and my BA in English from Arkansas Tech University, and I have my MA in English from Highlands University. I have taught all levels of college composition, creative writing, and American Lit. Also, I have taught English at the high school level. Also, I have a minor in American History.

I enjoy being able to work with children and being able to positively impact their lives whether that be through empowering them to succeed or teaching new skills. Throughout my graduate studies I worked as a substitute teacher from grades pre-k-12; however I especially enjoyed working with younger children as it allows for more creativity and thinking outside of the box.
