Education is key to a good life.

As of 2012 I am going to be a Junior in Highschool. I have passed all my classes with a C+ or higher and I am able to teach younger children great. I can relate to the kids having issues with school education because when I was younger it took alot for me to strive but I found that motivation and improved since then.

My teaching style is one where I combine patience, efficiency, technology, variety as well as traditional methods. I believe that you need to keep learning fun and if you mix up different methods then it keeps the aspect of learning from getting boring. If a student gets bored and their mind begins to wander, they will have a much harder time retaining the information you are working so hard to teach. A great example of this would be for teaching children math. The internet has some great resources in helping students to practice their math skills by playing games. As a older sibling to a child that had a learning disability, I felt it was my responsiblity to help him achieve a high school diploma. From the age of six years old to his senior year in high school, I tutored my brother in all subjects, from math and english to electives. I have a two year elementary teacher certificate from Fiji where I taught school for five years before I got a scholarship to study in Hawaii. I noticed a great difference between American students and Polynesian students. Polynesian students are very passive learners and will never dare ask questions in class. The teacher can do pretty much anything he/she wants to do with little or no major challenges.
