Each person learns at an individual pace. I use the Gardner system of multiple intelligences to facilitate individual learning style. I do not believe something is impossible to learn, or unteachable. Patience is a moral and ethic rule with my personal professional style.
I have worked with different levels of mental health and emotional maturity for several years. I am very patient and encouraging with a lot of positive feedback. I design my lessons by looking at the specific needs and learning styles of my students with welcomed input from their parents and teachers. Each session is filled with very interactive activities including educational games which I tailor to meet individual needs. It is important to have engaging lessons, especially after a day at school, no matter what the age is of the student.
