Painting is one of my top subjects! I have a BFA in fine art and exhibit my paintings in juried shows and sell them in galleries. I was one of the 50 artists selected to exhibit in the Spring 2014 ArtMart at the Bath House Cultural Center in Dallas (near White Rock Lake). I'm an experienced art teacher for students ages 5-12 and also adults. I'm experienced with oil, acrylics, collage, mixed media, printmaking, recycling and found object work as well as photography and photo transfer.

I'm comfortable with all ages and levels of students. My teaching style is relaxed, open, encouraging and I allow students to experiment. I have a strong background in techniques, so I also want to build a foundation and skill level without taking away the creativity and spontaneity. I also have knowledge of art history and I'm open to many different ways of appreciating art. I have a background in marketing and writing for advertising and also journalism.
