I have an advanced degree in information technology and a background in English education. I have taught private music lessons in the past and know how to break tasks down into small pieces and relate to both children and adults. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a BS in Child development with a minor in phsychology and I was teaching for Head Start back before I finished my degree. I have since finished and I am looking to expand my range. I love math and it just comes easy for me. I have a background in Engineering and Calculas.

I really enjoy tutoring. I love watching the students gain confidence as we work through the problems. I believe my attitude and approach to teaching helps the students. I fit my teaching style to the student's learning style. I try to follow the model of my physics advisor, who has an excellent ability to figure out how a student learns best, then adapt his teaching and explanations accordingly. Students are often closer to understanding than they realize, and a different presentation can make a huge difference. I work to improve weak areas and capitalize on strengths for each student.
