A Little Bit About Me...

My approach to teaching is build the students confidence by showing them that no problem is to difficult to challenge. I enjoy working with students step by step through each problem so that they can understand the essence of the question being asked and as such if the question is framed differently they are still able to answer it. I also strive to to challenge the students to accomplish the tasks that i have tutored them in by giving them similar problems to complete by themselves.
I am a recent graduate with a Masters in Accounting and also have a bachelors degree in business with a concentration in finance. I have always wanted to teach Math and Science. I have volunteered tutored on and off for five years for friends and family. I have a BS in Chemistry and have worked as a Chemist for 13 years. I currently am working as an accountant. I enjoy formulas and showing my students how everything comes togeher. Most people find Math frustrating and I enjoy showing them a different way to approach problems.
