After graduating from Purdue University with a degree in Business Management/Marketing, I set out for Milan, Italy and immediately found work teaching English and Business English there. I taught all ages (from 6 to 60), both individual lessons within the homes of the students or at my home, or individual and group lessons within big companies. One of my biggest clients was UPS Italia where I sometimes taught for seven to eight hours a day. After doing this for seven years, I found a job within a publishing house based in Milan. I eventually became the International Sales Manager there, and I still work for this company on a freelance basis doing translations and sales. I currently work from home as a writer, translator, and tutor. It depends on the subjects I'm teaching and the needs of the students.
