A Little Bit About Me...

I currently work as a Site Coordinator with a organization called Communities In Schools of Kent, at Mill Creek Middle school. A position that I will be in for the remainder of the year. In the Fall of 2013 I will be attending the University of Michigan's School of Social Work. In 2012 I graduated with a B.S. of Psychology. from Wilberforce University, in Ohio. For the past three-four years tutoring has been a huge part of my career experience, ranging from adolescents to college students. I just graduated from PLU with a degree in Business, a concentration in human resources, and a minor in psychology. I maintained a high GPA throughout my college experience and graduated with honors. I have very good study skills and am very organized. I took a variety of classes and excelled in writing papers and test preparation. I have never tutored children but have given children riding lessons and have helped 4-H children learn horsemanship skills. I consider myself very patient and a good teacher. I have a AAST in environmental science and technology, a BA in marine science and environmental studies, and will have my BS in one quarter.
