Teaching has been my last career change. My prior experience has been in the field of manufacturing, maintenance engineering services and construction management. This diversified background was instrumental in equipping me to acquire a technology education certificate in three states (NY, OH, NJ) I am equipped to tutor elementary students in math, the physical sciences and language arts. I really enjoy, generally speaking, helping people, but mainly help them pursue a future degree for themselves and a better life. I keep telling to my students that they should erase the "math fear" and that everything is easy if one understands it. Also, in case that they do not understand is my fought as a teacher and I am going to find a better way to explain the issue. A Little Bit About Me...

As a homeschooler from fifth grade through high school, I learned the value of personalized instruction. My passion for learning the sciences led me to a double major in chemistry and mechanical engineering. While completing my degrees, I have been granted several opportunities to tutor in chemistry, mathematics, calculus, and the engineering sciences. In addition, I have worked closely with my instructors as a laboratory assistant in the freshman chemistry labs, and have been promoted to the position of laboratory instructor while I complete my second degree.
I enjoy working with a student until I see the "light bulb" come on. Because people are individuals, I realize that the same approach will not work with every student.
