My comments on tutoring Microsoft PowerPoint : I am excellent with Microsoft, especially powerpoint! I use this everyday, especially as a teacher.

I am very energetic, extremely patient, but I also will not accept back talking, lying, texting on your phone, or any inappropriate behavior while I am working as your teacher. I am always available to help you, I only want to see my students learn, achieve and succeed in their academics, while helping them stay focused and love learning what I teach them by making learning fun for them!
I am currently a student at the university of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where I am majoring in early childhood education with a minor in speech pathology. My comments on tutoring Microsoft PowerPoint : I worked as an office manager for 5 years and have 10 years experience with Microsoft Office. I am proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and experienced with Access.

My teaching philosophy starts out with essentialism which believes in a strong core curriculum and high academic standards. I believe it is important to have a strong foundation on which to build upon. After ensuring a strong foundation I tend to lean more towards progressivism. I believe students should be taught what is relevant today while becoming more independent learners, by utilizing problem solving skills and critical thinking. I teach the foundation and build upon that based upon what is relevant in a particular field today. I also include student-centered teaching strategies. I believe in order to learn a student must have base knowledge of a subject that leads into hands on assignments which require mastery of a subject. I like to listen to students and teaching style is by hands on experience for students. Showing and explaining how they can achieve the skill at hand is successful. Often by teaching computer skills or program to help with the subject at hand.
I have worked with children in a pre-school or subing element for years, as well as an office. I am 2 classes away from my Assoc of E.Edu at the University of Phoenix. I plan to continue with my B.S. Being envolved as a sub-teacher has allowed me to work with children of differnt ages to understand what they are learning,and the differnt styles that may help with that age group.
