A Little Bit About Me...

I am a recent graduate of the University of Hartford. I have a dual certification in Special Education and Elementary Education. I have taught in both Urban and Suburban areas in grades K, 1, 2,5,6, and 7. I have also tutored children in grade 4 and peers at the college level. I have tutored all elementary subjects and at the college level I have tutored in English and World History.
I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in elementary school and now that I have graduated I am excited to finally live out my childhood dreams. I am very enthusiastic, patient, and creative. I feel as though all children can learn, it's just a matter of figuring out what learning style best suits them. I truly believe in the use of positive reinforcement whenever possible.

My passion is teaching, it always has been. If I could describe my teaching style in one word, it would be caring. Children need to be cared for and know that they can trust you as their teacher.
