Marine Biology is one of my top subjects!

My preferred teaching style is applied learning where I encourage involvement with the lesson (ie:bringing in senses of touch, sight, smell as well as action (hikes, etc.) to capture the essence of what is being taught in addition to literature.
My initial interest was terrestrial and behavioral ecology from a course in wildlife management I attended in Kenya, East Africa, with The School for Field Studies. Marine Biology is one of my top subjects! I received my B.Sc. in Biology with a marine emphasis in 2012 with an overall gpa of 3.7. I have conducted marine science research with the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (La Jolla, CA), the Shannon Point Marine Center (Anacortes, WA), and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA, La Jolla, CA). I worked for NOAA for a year in a marine mammal genetics lab following graduation from university. While in school, I was a TA for a Marine Invertebrate Zoology and a Marine Vertebrate Zoology course. I tutored marine science students for 2 years.

Studied marine biology for 4 years at university, completing three summer research programs with three well-known marine institutions. If you don't like the results, I haven't done my job.

I won the state championship in the 100 meters and went to Adams State College in Alamosa CO. Broke a leg in track and received withdrawn F across the board. Left college and healed up. Went to the Army two years and reserve three years. Came back and picked up the quickest degree possiable. Moved to Hawwaii, three years. Became a ciritified dept of defense government contractor. Furnish and deliver contracts. Ended up moving back home to Albuquerque NM. I started working in the Indian Casinos for 13 years. I bought a house and retired. But now I'm tired of sitting around.
All I do is tend to my students needs. I'm personal. Like to get off track with my students and lead them back to the point.
