My philosophy of teaching has been built upon my personal experience as a student, upon my theoretical education in Second Language Teaching Methodology class, and most importantly upon my teaching experience. For me, successful teaching of a second language implies: • Meaningful learning • Professionalism • Positive atmosphere in the class I graduated from my Master´s at West Virginia University in May 2010. Spanish Literature is my main area of concentration and Linguistics is my second area of concentration. I am a native speaker of Spanish but I am also fluent in German, English and French. I graduated in May 2008 with my bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting at Universidad de Valladolid, Spain. During this period, I studied abroad for four semesters in France and Germany, and also worked as an English instructor.

I enjoyed teaching at an undergraduate level but I believe each student is unique and requires specific attention. My teaching style resort to interactive as well as classic materials. Case studies, pronounciation worshops, in-context use and practice are key to successful teaching. I graduated with an MBA in International Business, started a career in Marketing Management and then got into International Education.
