My comments on tutoring Graphic Design : I have done graphic design in the context of website development as well as created informational material such as flyers. I have experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. The areas that I can assist students with include vector graphics, photo processing, and editing PDFs.
I try to work with students to find connections between different aspects of the material that we're working on as well as to find connections to other subjects. I find that by relating specific topics to broader perspectives on a subject as well as related subjects, the student can gain a greater appreciation for the coherence and importance of a particular subject area.
I have experience working with students who are advanced and seeking supplementary tutoring as well as with students who are having difficulty with a subject. I have tutored mathematics as well as chemistry, biology, physics, and other subjects. I have tutored students from a range of ages and I worked with my first student over four years ago while I was in college.
