As a graduate of an all girls private school (Peace College) in Raleigh NC, I have become a true leader in the female world. I have always been driven to make a mark in this world by setting by example. I have earned a BA in Communications, specializing in Public Relations and Advertising. I have completed both an MBA and bachelors degree in business and during that education I studied a wide array subjects. Marketing, Finance, accounting, HR, and economics. The cumulation of all this experience has taught me well and now I would love the opportunity to pass on this knowledge to others and help them get through challenging times. My favorite part about teaching is the moment that something "clicks" within a child's mind. I am a problem solver naturally so I try to lead children down a path of discovery instead of just teaching the answer. I believe this helps children gain an understanding of how things work or why they are a certain way so that they are able to apply these same processes to other problems. I have earned two bachelor degrees, BS in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business and BA in Spanish. I have 10 years of professional experience involving customer service, Spanish translation, tutoring, and training. As an ex-patriate, I was afforded the opportunity to learn Spanish fluently and have witnessed first hand its importance in business and life today. I also have elementary age children that I assist in the everyday learning processes.
