As an undergraduate student, I studied English and communication. These two subjects combined groomed me into a proficient writer, communicator, and researcher. Post graduation, I took a year off to work and explore myself and the world. During my conquest, my love of English deepened. This desire for learning and love for English has lead me to pursue a career as an educator. I am now studying to obtain a Master's Degree in English Language Arts. I know firsthand that great teachers make great students. It took several years to discover my learning style because I had to find it on my own. I want to be able to help students find their own learning style. I believe that subjects are best learned when broken down, and repetition is key. I also believe practice makes perfect. I know that a student needs to know the basics first, then can move on to more complex ideas.
In earning my bachelors of science degree at the University of South Carolina Aiken, I gained a true love for biology. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that all children have the potential to learn and am a strong advocate of customized teaching. I am so drawn to the mathematics and sciences because I learn from working through problems and finding methods to solve them. When I tutor I tend to emphasize to the student to find a study method that works for them and adapt it to whatever they need to learn.
