A Little Bit About Me...

I have a Bachelors in English from Dominican University. I began A Plus Master Tutoring Center over 4 years ago and was teaching in my home. Now we have expanded to a center in Oak Park and we tutor all ages, from Pre-K to adults. Our subjects range from phonics to algebra. Our teaching styles vary from a 3:1 ratio, which would include up to three students and one tutor, or a 1:1 ratio which would be a private session with a student and a tutor. Session prices range from $25-$27 depending on the type of session. We pride ourselves in being an affordable tutoring center compared with the prices of Huntington and Sylvan learning centers. My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I have taken many creative writing courses and I write as one of my hobbies.

I am very patient when it comes to my teaching style. I try to use techniques that are compatible with my student's learning style. I never get angry.

I began my college journey as an English major. I decided to switch to Elementary Education to be able to reach future writers before they lost the love for it.
