I like to start tutoring students by determining what the student's strengths and weaknesses are and building a strategy from there. When a student doesn't understand a new concept, I like to go through every step of the process with them to figure out where the stumbling block is, using a variety of ways to explain the concept to assess which strategy works best for each student. As a graduate from University of Idaho, I was very much driven to reach a higher level of excellence in education, leadership, and support of my peers.
