I have tutored kids at my Church whenever someone has needed help. I am very patient and understanding of how frustrating certain topics can be, so I know I am a great candidate for tutoring. I am exceptionally great with younger kids who have ADD or ADHD since I have struggled with that myself. My teaching style follows one important rule: NEVER become so concerned with following my lesson plans to the letter that I miss what is truly important: teaching moments. A teacher has to learn to listen to his or her class and realize when the moment to abandon the lesson plan has come.
