Teaching and learning is deeply rooted in my being, children are my joy, and I truly believe all are capable of learning. I use a constructivist approach to teaching, and believe learners reach potential by active involvement. As an experienced K-12 substitute teacher, my work extended from the inner city to the county schools. I had the opportunity to instruct students with various ability levels and learning styles. For the MA degree that I completed, I gained a working knowledge of grammar and research skills due to writing research papers and a final extensive thesis.
