Psychology is one of my top subjects!

As a student I am seeking a career as a psychologist and am 2 semesters away from completing my MA and 2 years from my PsyD. So I understand what it's like to be a student! I do hands on instruction I try to relate whatever concept I am attempting to teach into a hands on experiment so the student can see, feel or even smell things that will help make things easy for them to remember. With Math and Algebra I try to relate it to the real world and teach them to use their imaginations and visualize things to make the concepts more acceptable to them. In 1981 I received a double-bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Texas A&M Commerce. I tutored Math, basic skills through calculus I, and Computer Science for two years while attending the University. I have also tutored all middle-school subjects, especially reading and math, at Trinity River Mission tutoring facility in Dallas from 1991-1996.
